Import a thumbnail from YouTube

Use a video URL to bring its thumbnail into the source selector without saving the image manually.

How to use it

1

Open the YouTube tab

Click Source thumbnail and open the YouTube tab.
2

Paste the video link

Paste the YouTube video link and use the import control.
3

Select the imported thumbnail

Wait for the thumbnail to load and select it as your source.
4

Describe your adaptation

Describe your adaptation, choose a person if appropriate, and generate.

What happens

Only the thumbnail becomes a source. Import does not bring in the video, its script or its run settings, and it does not publish anything to YouTube.

Example

Starting image: a thumbnail with a large face on the right and a product on the left. Next request: select your person, attach your product as @image1, then describe the adaptation:
Keep the face on the right and place @image1 on the left. Use a blue background.
Check the result: your subject and product should replace the original content while using that general arrangement.

Good to know

Check the returned image before generating. If the link cannot be imported, verify the video URL or upload an image you already have. A source is guidance, not a promise of identical pixels.
